ive worked very hard to create Atsameip 3. a system that contains the same data than the old atsameip, does the same thing and looks the same but that is completely different from the inside, all that to allow the site to be much faster and lighter than before!

it is currently released as a Beta and is the system that is featured on the homepage. currently im trying it out to see how it will go in the long run.

Atsameip 3 is very experimental, its a crazy idea where i basically created my own replacement of MySQL that i called the "Dat System" and all the data is saved and read from that "Dat System".

Atsameip 3 has been live for already a couple of days and im surprised to see that this Dat System has not yet crashed and died, so far so good, if it needed its possible to go back to atsameip 2. we shall see how it goes, but so far atsameip 3 has not bugged much (no bugs that i couldnt fix) and is still really fast (at least 100 times faster than atsameip 2 was).

so stay tuned theres still more nice features and improvements to come for Atsameip!

7 years later! the crazy Dat System is still holding strong!! I have ended up using it on other sites of mine wimg.ca and barbavid.com for their data backend too.
